Being able to immerse yourself in a great read is a wonderful experience that we want all of our children to have. Reading is fun and can open up the world for children, helping them to access all areas of learning. Here at Fawkham reading is at the centre of our curriculum. Encouraging all children to read and thoroughly enjoy the experience is paramount. It is a known fact that many boys are reluctant readers and that boys read for pleasure less than girls.
